    I'm doing JC Math from the Folens Active Math 2014 by myself and would appreciate a bit of help. I have a problem with what I perceive as consistancy with two questions.

    The first question is: 1.1.1 List the elements of the set
    (iii) {The whole numbers between 4 and 10}
    My answer was {5, 6, 7, 8, 9} which was wrong. They give the answer as
    {4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10} I took between literally, but in 1.1.4 (iv) they have another question: {The whole numbers between 1 and 2} Because of the previous answer concerning between, I answered {1,2}, which was wrong also. The answer was {}.

    Very confusing.

    How old is that book?

    It's the 2014 curriculum.

    Are these actual exam questions or ones made up to put in a book?
    I would be very surprised at such inconsistence in exam papers, but not really surprised at questions for a book which probably had a rush to printing deadline.

    From the book.
    The answer u gave is right. My book is a lot like that, the answers at the back of the book at the new books can be wrong. I spent half an hour on one question this year, my answer was different from the back, my teacher said the book was wrong. I felt like killing myself

    Yourself? Surely you mean the books publishers?
