JSA - Necessary to register with FAS?

Just wondering do you have to actually register with FAS for Job seekers Allowance. I'm already doing a course to help get work in top of 2 degrees. Will they refuse to grant my application until I register & can they tell if I don''t register? thanks in advance

There is no need to register with FAS as after three months on JSA you are automatically registered with FAS under NEAP (National Employment Action Plan).
