Account Country UK or IE?

Hi

We got a Xbox 360 for xmas, we had an account with xbox for the PC but the country listed in the Xbox.com is UK, looking at the help looks like we cannot change the country. Would there be any problem keeping that account I'm thinking for example when we buy Points or gold membership do they have to be from the UK? If we were to add a credit card does it need to have a UK address? Or can membership and points bought in Ireland be use in the UK account.

Or should we just create a new Irish Hotmail account and forget about the UK account? The UK account is been used a couple of days so some info save in that profile.

Theyre making it possible to change an account from one country to another, which should be up and going soon.

Buy points / gold memberships on line, see the thread in the main forum. The points cards etc can be used on uk or irish accounts no issue there.

If you buy through the xbox with a credit card you get charged more.
