does my car have an alarm?

i am wondering if my car has an alarm or not.

behind the radio there is a red light that flashes and on the windows are a sticker that says the car is guarded with autogaurd.

does the alarm activate when radio is taken out or whats the story?

Unless you have a remote control or keyfob for it its unlikely that it'd work.

Are you driving a Nissan, as in Nissan Anti Theft System? There should also be an alarm sounder somewhere in the engine bay. Or maybe you just have an immobiliser?

Did the same on mine and found out ive a silent alarm. Or at least that's the "feature" the garage I got it off is telling me I have.

Yep, Almera. It's got an immobiliser all right never sure about the alarm though and never knew how to check 'till now.
