OK, I've just noticed that Inglorious Basterds is down on the sky EPG and just Inglorious.

    Should I:

    1. Ignore it and just get back to my Guinness
    2. Talk to Joe
    3. Drink some more Guinness

Whats next, maybe the Muppet show will be changed to just Oireachtas.

    Anyone sober enough to care?

I think that you are over reacting and should re-evaluate your current circumstances.

Well the fact that they changed the spelling of the word 'Bastards' in the films title to please the Namby-Pamby folks should have been a hint as to 'what's next'.

I think it's because of the fact a child could see it.
Both Sky and UPC need a pin code to view the film channels before the watershed.

Hey, I've just switched over to Mission Impossible 4 on 301.

    Hows the scientology going?

    Yer man gets shot

But yet the Bang Babes is fine and doesn't require a pin code.

If I recall correctly, none of the billboards actually had Basterds written on them here. So it got marketed as 'Inglorious' even though that wasn't the complete title.

I think Tarantino deliberately spelt it Basterds.

Plus I think alot of broadcasters dropped the 'Basterds' to avoid offence..

    Burn your Sky box down.

The fact that there is an "RTE TWO" logo emblazoned across the screen is far more irksome and precludes me from watching it.

Cheers. good to know that someone wouldn't be accidently offended by the title.

I actually hated it. I found it was full of historical inaccuracies.

RTE included Basterds on the Saorview EPG so I'd say it actually is a Sky edit

That's the way it appeared earlier in the year on both RTE and Channel 4

The film is called Inglorious Basterds for some bizarre reason, however it is true that titles are tweaked in the EPG - Beverly Hills Bitch (some ****e on Movies4Men) being a case in point.
