Can't figure it out and there's a few questions referring to it.

Can't get 'He hails from 90 down' either, someone from Kerry?

God be with the days when you had to work out these crosswords, last year I reckon all the answers were posted here (some of them several times), some lads/lassies were looking for answers to half the clues. This is a relatively easy straight forward one but to be fair ye are only looking for one answer each which is fair enough, if you pm me I will send it on.

31 across, I have Mary Davis, the Irish Special Olympics chief. I originally had ARCHERS for 11 down but changed to ARCHERY which fits with the Y in Mary.

Does anyone have 19 across: We saw through this Argentinian nightmare? L--s, it looks like loss but the reasoning is a bit vague if it's because we lost to Argentina in the rugby world cup.

Thanks for MARY. I also had ARCHERS so we concur. I've LENS for the other one. Ireland beaten by the Argies in World Cup game there. Makes sense as we look through LENS

    Thanks Bazza1
I had Pullman thinking John Pullman (snooker player of old) and back row seat.
But now I agree with you and others regarding MCCOY for racer and Ken Earl. I will hold back on OSLO as I don't see the connection. Prhaps you could explain!!! Thks for help and good luck to all posters with your entries.

Toe to hand = solo [as in gaa terms], solo is an anagram of OSLO - the capital of norway
