    Russell Howard.. Not funny
Michael McIntyre... Words evade me to describe my dislike
    Josh Widdecome (?)
    Jason Byrne
Catherine Lynch Actually all female Irish 'comedians'
Speaking as a wOman, I find most female comedians woeful try-hards. Apart from Sarah Millican, who is funny in small doses, the rest of the are just doses....

    Andy Parsons.

    Painfully unfunny.

with the most annoying voice ever

Always thought he was funny on TV and went to see him in the Olympia - he was awful. Just stood there reeling out one liner after one liner with no sense of delivery or pacing at all.

gulp. have tickets for my husband for his xmas present.

Ed Byrne, sweet Jesus, he has some balls to call himself a comedian.

    He's worse than useless.

This guy is brilliant live, he was heckled a lot and always gave hilarious responses.

I love him. Think I better leave this thread before I start going off on one.

Female comedians are useless, they annoy the hell out of me and never make me laugh

Dylan Moran? I like him. Mainly because of Black Books though.

It's strange how immediately the tides of popularity turn on people in the public eye now. I've definitely gotten a little wiser in the last few years but people's opinions and careers are moving quicker as well, their arses are barely touching the pedestal before they're getting hooshed off of it.

After looking at some of the responses in this thread, it was nice to become an adult and stop getting my balls in a knot over whether I enjoyed a comedian. You can really save a lot of time just ignoring the ones you don't find funny. It's very much preferable to being an absolute pillock who needs to validate his opinion by bagging someone who's just trying their best to make people laugh.

Of course, not everyone gets their fair chance in the business, some spots are taken up by nepotists and key demographic representatives selected by a television's marketing team; they're easy to spot though and ignoring them is as good as them never existing in the first place!:pac:

I think he's one of those lads who's funny in a group. Fairly quick, pretty likeable IMO. Good to have around a table in the pub.

But thats a world away from being good enough to have people pay to see you perform.

4 pages in and no mention of David McSavage? Shame on you, AH.

I was brought to see him once and the only funny thing about it was the hecklers. I'm not a violent person, but every time I see him I get the urge to smash his teeth in with a hammer.

I used to hate Philip Jupitus until I saw him doing stand up in a small pub in Kilkenny many years ago. Completely different to his NMTB persona.

Watch Eddie Murphy "Raw" and "Delirious". Pure brilliance.

Instead, you can get your knickers in a twist over a light hearted thread on an internet forum...

James Cordon, dont find him one bit funny. His voice is squeaky and his jokes overly stale and ego-boosting.

Eyebrows and stupid serious faces don't make comedy.
Who's the annoying gobsh!te that thinks whistling and gesturing with a newspaper is funny? And why did someone think a TV show of that was money well spent?
