Hi all, I've been thinking about a little run around recently and I keep going back to the Audi TT. I'm probably looking at the 1.8 version, with some good extras but I have my reservations on the leg room. Does anyone know if they could accommodate a tall guy, I'm 6,4 and average build ??

Overall height is not the only factor also need to consider the split between trunk and limbs!

Easiest means to check is a test drive.

Not sure what you're worried about though, you'd be under average height in my family (including the women)!

I cant see that working out for you. I had a mk1 TT and my 6' 2" mate had a spin and said he didnt fit properly - knees around the steering was the problem, not headroom.

I'm 5"8/5"9 and I have to say I found the TT a bit cramped. I don't think I'd fancy it if I was 6 foot plus.

Im 5 7 and feel the seat could go back a notch but Im comfy enough. Ive a MK1 Roadster. The Coupe might be better, take a test drive and check if you are comfy. They are really great cars despite what the naysayers say.

Being honest, Im 6 Ft and having driven 2 of them the new model and the older one. Im not a major fan. Visibility was a killer for me despite me really liking the look of them i just didnt like the view outwards.

go drive one (several infact) and judge for yourself. The internet despite its merits cant help you here.
