Are there any celebrations happening in Clare?

The one near Newgrange looks like loads of fun: http://ireland2012.ie/
but I'm not going to get there :(

So folks, have you heard of anything big planned?

    Have you anything planned?

I'll be outside watching the skies...which I probably wont get a good look at 'cos of the clouds :pac:

Isn't there usually something on around the Dolman in the Burren? Newgrange is the biggie every year though

There are a lot of New Age Travellers around the area and I think they organise something, I thought you meant something like that.

The person running the event in Dublin is a Lisdoonvarna native http://www.clare.fm/blog/afternoon/afternoon-show-tuesday-october-9th-2012

iirc they used to organise something in Craggaunowen, near Quin. Don't see anything online, so I could be wrong. I know RTE did a solstice programme from there a few years ago.
