Sorry mate that's to easy. The UB and TBO have kept going against the clubs wishes with regards to certain songs, crowd surfing refusing to follow instructions regarding there behaviour also both groups are so far up their own backsides its not true. They have no right go confront police when they are going their lawful business. Then they have the cheek to moan because the club refused to move them again. I think they help the atmosphere to an extent but when they start thinking 1 they are better than us mere mortal fans and 2 they can do what they like to the detriment of the club. Then honestly they can feck off

EVERYONE has the right to confront police when they feel either they or someone else is being treated unfairly.

As for their songs: They don't sing anything sectarian, and the crowdsurfing is hardly dangerous behaviour (unlike lighting of flares for example).

edit: And they're not exactly going against the club's wishes when our own CEO and manager have come out in support of them, are they ?

The only ones who don't like them are G4S (who hopefully will be gone soon) and the police.

There is also no evidence that they think they are better than other fans.

If your share was transferred then why didn't you stay in SPL?
It's simple Bobby they voted us out and when the SFL voted to have us in Division three the share was transferred. The reason that took so long was they made the club accept illegal sanctions such as the transfer embargo if they hadn't accepted they would have held the share meaning we could not have competed. I am sure you can find all this documented anyway Bobby

No they don't have the right to attack the police in the act of arresting someone that is called mob rule. They have been asked to stop singing Super Rangers on a number of occasions now whether you or I or anyone else may disagree the F word is banned. The club asked them to stop this. The whole Green and Ally thing was earlier in the season since then they have asked BF1 to stop the crowd surfing as it is dangerous in a tiered stadium it also has an affect on the clubs insurance and safety licence. I have spoken to a member of the UB this morning who has said he is finished with Rangers as they are being treated unfairly his reasons. They can't sing what they want etc Now my heart bleeds for him and the others stop acting like weans and join the real world
I know you won't agree bug if the UB disappeared today I would've care one jot

Who said anything about attacking police ?

As for the crowd surfing, as far as I know only David Martin (who claims to be under orders from the club) has said that they should stop that, and he's a bitter one.

The only reason TBO and UB get a hard time is because the forces that be don't want fans to have a good time and enjoy themselves, but rather enforce complete control and have people obey their every move.

Mate what else do you call trying to stop them doing what they were supposed to do. It is pretty clear from all the talk that the UB were willing to resort to violence.
Oh come on he is employed as head of security I am pretty sure he would have been sanctioned by the club if he hadn't the club could easily have said carry on boys.

Sorry, but intervening verbally (Because that's what happened) when they are trying to arrest someone because you think it's unfair is not the same as attacking.

I strongly suggest you take in at least one game in BF1 to see the draconic measures that the people there have to put up with, it's absolutely insane and imo completely unjustified.

Were you there Jelle because when I am being told. "we have had enough and we will use any methods to stop the police including violence" then I reckon they were willing to use it. I have seen plenty that goes on in BF1 I have seen stewards and police verbally abused for just standing there. Now I know that not all who go into that section are out to cause trouble but plenty are especially in the UB who would love to see the club revert back to the dark ages with there policies. Having been on the receiving end of their bigotry I don't have any time for them.

But if you were the same club you would have been allowed to continue playing in the SPL. Quite simple really.

No Bobby they used their democratic voting rights to vote us out which under the rules of the SPL they were entitled to do. Now you know all this so I don't know why your keeping it going I am certainly not going to change my standpoint as it is clear enough for all to see.

The "share" as in SPL share was transferred to Dundee. It was the SFA membership that was transferred as a new club could not have got membership for 3 years.

In that respect its the "same"club. You need to let it rest Bobby, one side says it is new, one side says it is not. Nothing will change that. All you're doing is winding up and clogging the thread.

Mind you, I'd love to know how a license was granted as a new club could not get into the league and the old club owed the taxman and had no accounts, clear breaches of the licensing regulations.

Whyte was a liar though and no one ever really believed what he said. Sure Jim Traynor who broke that story is the one who found him out to be a spoofer. Green is a true and honest Yorkshire man and his word is good.

Should this thread be changed to Rangers International Football Club now?

Call it whatever you want, it'll still be a thread concerning Rangers FC ;)

Rangers boss Ally McCoist set to be handed up to £30m once transfer embargo is lifted

There you go lads, Charlie reckons up to £30m available for next season as long as the fans play ball. Going by this logic, if Ally is very shrewd with money while Rangers are in the lower leagues then there should be the best part of £70m available for him by the time the team gets to the SPL, probably more if season ticket prices increase.

At this rate I reckon Celtic will have to reach the last 16 of the Champions League every season until Rangers are in the SPL just for us to have a chance to keep up with the financial miracle that is RFC 2012 plc.

    :pac:

It's not exactly what he says though, is it ?

He says there might be more money available, that doesn't mean it will all be spent.
I'd rather some of that money is invested in the youth setup.

Kyle Bartley hahaha warchest timmy. Apart from being a nasty piece of work does he actually tick any other boxes for you lot?

McCoist has already been found out to be woeful in the transfer market so I'd actually love to see him piss away real money.

We're talking about Kyle Bartley here, not Scott 'I eat Lego' Brown.

he never claimed kyle bartley could organise a team as captain.. that would have been ludicrous

Was Green 'heckled' and 'jeered' while addressing the crowd last night?
Honestly lads, what's the opinion of the bold Chico among the bears on here?? I know some fans who are right behind him, but have others who can't stand him and refuse to trust anything he says.

Only by TBO and UB. Was to do with ibrox renaming rather than share issue

Aye I believe it was the renaming thing. What do you want to call it? Do you think Chico might be looking to go the Sports Direct route with Mike Ashley??

Lol, Scott Brown is an imposter, says enough that you think he's a good captain though.

As for the renaming of Ibrox: I honestly don't know how this escalated so quickly, the last I heard Green said it was one of many options to maximize revenue.

And then when Ashley came in people put 1 and 1 together, but there is no indication that this is even being considered right now.

imposter how so? he makes his presence felt on the field and is well able to rally the troops

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

He's a decent enough player, but is also a plastic hardman.

Doesn't mind sticking the boot into players who won't fight back, but when he comes up against the likes of Bartley it's a different story.

An imposter who is captain of the SPL champions and leading us into the last 16 of the CL?!

I'll take that imposter above the likes of Bartley who would struggle in Div 3 with you guys.

its a good thing bartley is unlikely to face him in the immediate future then.. im sure Brown cowers in fear at the thoughts.. although i seem to remember him managing the ultimate degenerate "hardman" diouf alright
