Going doing a job on the pit in the parlour in the new year. Lowering the floor to a more comfortable working level. Firstly, what depth do ye have the pit? At the moment mine is between 27 and 32 inches!! Secondly do any ye have mats or any other covering on top of the concrete? Are ye happy with it cleanliness wise as well as comfort?

How are the cubicle mats to keep clean? Does dirt and sh*te not get in around the edges of the mats or how did you join em?

Seen a pit recently done with plastic pig slats. Nice spring in it when you walked on it good grip and easy washed out. Any else do this.
