    Hey all,

Wondering if anyone has had Converse All Stars at their wedding. We're thinking of booking them cos we love the look of their setlist and they sound really good. Unfortunately all their videos seem to be of them playing in bars rather than at weddings so can't really see if they get people up dancing. Anyone have them, were they good, did they keep the dancefloor full all night?

We liked the sound of Beat Club who got recommended to us but they're booked for the night of our wedding already. Does anyone have any other recommendations of alternative bands who don't play the usual cheese?

    Thanks!

Sorry I've never heard of the band! I clicked into the thread thinking that you would be wearing Converse All Stars for your wedding, love that idea :D
Might be an idea to edit the name to say that it is the name of a band and not the shoes!

lots of bands do "no cheese", they just do "cheese" as well as "no cheese" or else they wouldnt be working very much. So dont limit yourself if you see some cheesey songs on a setlist on a website.

youre in the highest end of the market there as well if youre looking at the all stars so you can get whatever you want from many bands in that price range.

have you a date and a county? don't need venue.

the date is to see if someones free, the county is to ensure someone will travel there.

I've never seen them at a wedding but have seen them live lots and they are amazing I think they only just started doing weddings , were looking at them for ours but its a bit away yet , I think your best bet with a band is to go listen to them live first as some we've seen we're brilliant on video but no atmosphere and pretty awful live, they will always have their best on video!!
