    End of the world, Austerity, Property tax, Salvita Halanapappaveer, then there was some goings on with the pope and a few politicians caught up in scandals but managed to brush them off as not being important enough to resign over.

    2012 was pretty ****. Maybe I'm just getting old; but the world seems like a far stupider place than it did a few years ago.

    Hopefully 2013 will be better... we'll have those new number-plates on our side anyway.

    Yeah, years and years of X Factor / reality TV in general seem to have that effect.
