Twoshedsjackson asked me if I had found out the name of a woman whom the detectives Steve and Mike had interviewed by her swimming pool in an episode of the Streets of San Francisco. if anyone does know her name (though i doubt it) I would be grateful. The episode in question was Mask of Death

Watch the episode and you will find the answer. Did you google it?

I saw the episode many years ago. I can only narrow two names down. Lori or a Mrs. Bobo Standfield

In fairness that's a fairly narrow list. In fact if it was any narrower it wouldn't be a list anymore, it would be an answer.

actually over thirty years ago. And the episode must have been a repeat in the late 80s or early 90s. And it's the character name I'm looking for

If you Google the phrase "The name of a woman whom Steve and Mike had interviewed by her swimming pool in an episode of the Streets of San Francisco" it just brings you back here so no help there. Gas, all the same.

    Like something rainman would post.

"Gotta go to K-Mart to find out the name of a woman interviewed by her swimming pool"
    "I'm an excellent poster"

At least tell us this time why you want to know and how it's possible that despite narrowing it down to two characters you can't tell which it was even with photos of each actress?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,429 ✭✭✭branie

I just need the name of the character, that's all.

nlgbbbblth, what did you think of the start of the scene, her bikini top being fastened for her?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,429 ✭✭✭branie

what I mentioned in the above post (the fastening of the bikini top) really stuck in my mind since I first saw the scene.

I wouldn't say she was obscure, as she starred alongside Elvis in a number of film (I don't know which ones though).

I had a dream about the scene last night!
