Depends, some people think the temp in bios is the idle temp. The cpu is not at idle in bios so temps will be higher.

He didnt say where he read from but the way he talks of then gaming I'm betting software monitoring.

    It's €700 off :)

The place literally looked like it had been robbed. There was barely anything at all left. 4 macbook pro's in total, a few other laptops, asus transformers and other tablets well marked down too. Only 3 tv's left. No cameras... no pc components...

Do ye think its worth having a powerful computer if your ones broadband is ****e?

With MP taking over single player games, is it really worth owning a powerful computer with ****e broadband?

It all depends on other uses for the PC but if its solely for gaming you would probably be better off going with a 500 - 600 build if your Broadband is crap because its a waste of a good gaming experience . I did have ****e broadband and cracked a case window because I kicked my case . It will get you very annoyed very easily !

BF3 between patching and **** netcode is unplayable

Ive little to no problems with TF2,SC2,Lol,D3,CSS and CSGO and MP hasnt won yet still lots of quality SP games coming out

Hmm, would have to look it up but that seems a tad warm unless the room is quite warm. With a beasty cooler like that i'd want to be below 30 idle.

Didn't really have the best air flow where it was because I just set it up where I made it to make sure it ran okay, moved it to where I'm going to be keeping it this morning and idle temperatures on the CPU and GPU seem to be hovering around 28-29C

Your new PSU is making a pretty audible electrical whine while the PC is off, are you worried?

aye, i sow that. i would be more interested in that controller, motors and software then robot itself. some people on youtube are freaking stupidly smart when it comes to do legostuff.

^^^ Thats proper, if my 'ould doll caught me with lego, it might be a bit detrimental on other fronts :D

I used to have easily the biggest collection of Lego I've ever seen (outside of YouTube and internet obviously)

that's all I ever got as presents, and refused anything else.

I traded my McDonald happy meals and movie tickets etc for a small box of Lego. I literally had no other toys.

I see there are websites and apps made that allow you to enter your collection numbers and it'll tell you what other setups you can build by cross referencing the contents.

then one day my grandmother gave them all away to my cousins and family friends cause she thought I was too old for them.

she may be going senile now but I still don't forgive her. my pride and joy for 15 years.

I had quite a bit as well. Three of these if memory serves:

I also had quite a bit of K'nex, though I never got quite as into Mechano as I now would have liked to. We got to play around with the Lego Mindstorms robots in our first year programming module. Great craic.

I had a big dustbin full of lego. Played with it for years.

Left it all in France when I moved back to ireland. Was a bit old for it at that stage though.
