Terrible to lose that game. Turnovers cost us. We could have walked that game. Looks like we are playing in Mile High.

4 turnovers...Jesus fcuking Christ, you cant win when you do that

That last FG gives me a shout in fantasy. Need 16.5 points from Green tomorrow against a poor Titans defence. See you then!

A nice evening of NFL there. I'll skip the mnf game this week i think. Happy the Broncos have moved into the #2 slot in the AFC and did it by beating the Ravens fairly handily. Cleveland and KC both at mile high left.

Ugh I'm sick after that but in a way a bit hopeful because this team never gave up tonight.

A stat from tonight, Brandon Lloyd had 190 yards.

Despite dropping 24pt man Jones for 6.5 man Garcon, welkers 5.6 points gave me a 3.4 point win. Twas emotional needing welker to get some ball but having Bowman out there picking up a point a tackle!

Disappointing to not close it out. Make the playoffs a good bit tougher.

Just finished watching the 49ers/Pats game there, and all I can say is WOW  what a game !! I'll re-iterate what the commentators said: "...this game is off the charts !!"

<3 Brady. Can't believe I thought he looked like he was interested at the start of the game. Still feel confident going into the playoffs. Surely we can't have a half that bad again.

Can't imagine Pats fans will be happy with Kyle Arrington after that game. To pull off a comeback like that and then for Arrington to miss a straightforward tackle on Crabtree that led to the 49ers scoring a TD immediately after the Pats had brought it level. Granted they also gave up a big return before it but Arrington had to make that tackle. If they could have held the 49ers to a field goal there they may well have sneaked it in the end but the TD gave the niners a big confidence boost just just when they were wobbling badly.

Looks like the Pats will have to go on the road during the playoffs but I don't think playing away from home bothers them too much really. Obviously they will hope to have Gronk back too.

So, have you changed your mind on the Nfc being able to complete in the superbowl?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

    NFC>AFC.

To be fair now, I never said the NFC can't compete. I just said I think the winner of the Super Bowl will come from the AFC and be either the Broncos or Patriots.

In fairness, that's hardly ludicrous. NFC is the better conference but the top of the AFC is every bit as good as the top of the NFC, its when you go down a bit that the NFC's quality shows through, they have teams like Minnesota and Seattle on the WC fringe, we have the Colts and Steelers - good but heavily flawed teams.

As well as that, imo the AFC is due. Last three winners were NFC and four of the last 5. Also, the AFC has only sent one of the Colts, Pats or Steelers to the Superbowl in that timespan(and going further back), the NFC sent four different teams. It's time for a new AFC team to step up and win it...guess it'll have to be us...:pac:

Colts are heavily flawed but Minnesota aren't? Even though they have almost zero passing game? You might remember we beat the Vikings this season... along with the Packers and Lions, I might add.
