Ok folks. Here we go with the current offers for Christmas.

The Aldi Super 6 for 2 weeks from 16th December, all 49c

Oranges (Clementines) - 750g
Melon - Each
Pineapple - Each

Over at Tesco, from 17th until 26th December, 4 for €1 working out at 25c each

Lemon - Each
Garlic - 3 pack
Lime - Each
Mango - Each
Leek - Each
Melon (Honeydew) - Each
Cabbage (Savoy) - Each
Avocado - Each
Asparagus - 175g
Parsnips - 500g

At SuperValu, until 22nd December, 3 for €2 working out at 67c each

Lemon and Lime Net - 3 pack
Parsnips - 500g
Carrots - 750g
Apples (Braeburn) - 7 pack
Oranges (Easy Peeler) - 650g
Mushrooms (Large, Breakfast) - 3 pack
Brussel Sprouts - 500g

Supervalu are also doing Pineapples and Melons for 25c each, also until 22nd December

Superquinn get a mention this time around. Offers are until 1st January and all at 69c each

Worth posting the Centra offers, available until 24th December, all 49c

Phew !! Keep an eye out for ongoing price drops, similar to what happened last Christmas where pineapples and melons went down to as low as 5c each !!! Supervalu seem to have fired the first shot. Expect Aldi to follow. These are best left for up to a week to fully ripen so bear that in mind when you stock up.

Wait! The prices will fall next week and there is no chance they will run out. In fact if you can hold out til late Christmas Eve you may get them for nearly nothing:cool: I am going to wait til next Sunday to get the bulk of my veg. (as will not be going near shops on the 24th)

Lidl offers now updated on OP.

Have also added some offers from Centra which certainly competes with the larger supermarket chains. A first for them to appear in this bi weekly post. Great to see the extra bit of competition from the 'local' shops

Clicked on your link and asparagus is there at my local Tesco with home delivery looking ok. Appears as part of the 4 for €1 deal also

Didn't take long for the price drops to start.

Aldi have updated their Super 6 offer which was previously 49c

Reduced to 25c each

Brussel Sprouts - 500g
Melon - Each
Pineapple - Each

Reduced to 39c

Expect more price drops over the next few days.

Hey thanks very much for putting it all together, bought those deals today!
The Aldi clementines are very very juicy, I should have bought a few more nets of them

The Lidl sprouts are much bigger than the Aldi ones if you're comparing size. I haven't cooked em yet.

I was in Aldi today getting a few bits and pieces and one of the lads working in the place told me to put down a pack of mince I lifted as he was about to put 50% of sticker on it.:D

There was loads of meat at half price, mini chicken filetts, meatballs and mince, all with 50% off stickers.

Best before/use by dates were up until Stephens day!

Naas branch btw, beside Tesco extra.

The price war has begun,first Lidl had 39c offers,today Tesco have mix & match on fruit & veg @ 4 for €1.Supervalu have pretty much matched it with 25c for certain fruit & veg.

Dunnes started doing some fruit & veg for 15c: Mangos, Avocados, Red Cabbage and Leeks are definitely included. They had them distributed around the store in Cornelscourt.
