I see the Mirror ad on the telly for the Christmas telly, or is there a better one out there, although my eye did catch the glossy mag look
as you really dont to pay over the odds for any other.

Yup, the Culture magazine in the Sunday Times is great if you have Saorview/UK Freeview, however it might be lacking on full digital listings. I find it the best though.

I remember reading a Christmas TV guide pull-out in The Sun a few years ago and noticing that a programme called TBA was being shown a lot over Christmas. It must have been very popular as it was being broadcast on most of the channels ;)

Another vote for The Sunday Times Culture magazine's guide. Comprehensive and well laid out and they seem to have the best taste when it comes to picking out the TV and film highlights over Christmas and New Year.

I agree the culture magazine with the Sunday times is one of the best. I like getting the RTE guide too as its just tradition for me but it has a lot of tba plus it doesnt have most of the UK freeview stations.

+1 for the RTE Guide. Okay, there's not actually much other than the TV listings in it but it's the CHRISTMAS RTE Guide! Tradition = RTE Guide.
