I applaud your rather startling new euphemism, madam.
Yeah, (sounded better before I wrote it!) in fairness on re-reading, that could have gone disastrously but I couldn't be ar$ed re-wording it. :D I could be a mister. :)

    People watching is awesome :)
    I love this too. :)

I make bread. All the mechanics of kneading and proving and baking are really satisfying. A very peaceful and pleasing pastime.

Sailing or taking the gluaisrothar for a run. Nothing like a nice walk in the winter air.

Thinking of the good things in life while listening to music.
    Reading.

Walking in the pouring rain at night all cosied up in a big coat.
Listening to the pouring rain while snug in bed.
(as you can see, I like the rain :P )

Also, as others have mentioned, listening to music is probably my number one. :)

    Genuine answer, hot towel shaves.

Stick on the kettle, apply pre-shave cream, heat the mug, soak the brush. Make tea if desired.
Pour boiled water on the towel and wring out the excess, then apply towel to face and neck.
Remove towel, whip up a decent soapy lather in my hot mug, brush lather onto face, massage in, brush again.
First pass, rinse face with warm water, apply more soap, second pass. Drink tea. Third pass is optional.
Rinse with very cold water, apply alum block, embrace the pain, dry off, apply after-shave balm.
    Finish cold tea. :P

Sometimes takes up to 30 minutes, but is always worth it.

I love going for a nice long walk, because that means I'm on holiday somewhere, I never get to go anywhere unless I drive there at home.

I absolutely love to sit down and watch premiership football with about ten cups of tea.. It relaxes me so much..

Also love when someone plays with my hair, straightens and just messes with it.

Another one is to make a big cup of tea, open some choc and read after hours!!

Tea and chocolate go together so well! I like, for some reason, for what I'm drinking to reflect what I'm doing.
For example, if I'm watching Friends (best sitcom ever) I'll drink coffee but if I'm watching an Irish/ British sitcom I like to drink tea! :P Or if I'm listening to Britney I'll drink Pepsi :P

Swim, steam room, watching all the stored programmes from planner, steaming tay(tea), a really deep massage after exercising.

Getting my neck cracked at the physio.

Knitting/crocheting, being beside the sea, going sparring with my pals and battering the unholy ****e out of each other :)

My dog just calms me straight away.

Brushing him, playing with him outside, even telling him my troubles.

Love him so much, he's the best therapy I've ever come across!

Fixing something mechanical, especially when hungover, it distracts me from how bad I feel, caused by both my alcohol intake and my latest poor life choice.

Reading is my ultimate escapism, I love the feeling of looking up and realising I was so caught up in another world. It also makes me think less of my worries even when I'm not reading, I love thinking about he characters etc.

Smoking weed is so therapeutic too. I really have to be in the right atmosphere though as I can easily turn paranoid otherwise.

I love having a glass of wine as I watch a favourite tv show on my laptop. I have such a craving for mulled wine lately, think I might get some later :)

Also, nt therapeutic but I like reading the personal issues on boards. They help me feel I'm not alone sometimes. Postsecret.com is good for that too.

And we can't forget having the classic old cup of tea :)

    In order of preference

1: Shooting people in the face in BF3. Seriously caveman stuff. ME MAN! ME DESTROY!

    2: Maintaining my 3 aquariums.

Cats, it's just so calming/relaxing to pet a cat, always makes me feel better, I'm here all curled up on the couch with a cold and one of the cats is snuggled into me, feels good man. They always seem to know when I'm sad/sick and they'll come over looking for kisses and cuddles and as a bonus they keep you warm, they're awesome.

Anyways I spent a rather pleasant half hour or so this evening cleaning my ice-box!

Is that a euphemism for something ;)

For me it's cooking and guitar playing.

A shave after a couple of days of growth using a safety razor, badger brush and quality shaving soap - similiar to Insect Overlord, just not quite as meticulous!

Ironing while listening to music or a podcast.

    Reading.

+1 Nothing like a purring cat on your lap to relax you.

Except when they settle down on your lap and mysteriously treble their body weight over the course of an hour or so, so you are trapped for ever as their warm cushion.
