Windows Live Mail 2012 not detecting spam

As the title says, WLM 2012 only picks up a tiny portion of the spam entering my inbox. I have the settings set to max but I still have to wade through dozens of advertisements for Viagra, Cialis and 'fabulous' watches. I don't like the program but unfortunately I downloaded it with a windows update and I can't seem to get…

As the title says, WLM 2012 only picks up a tiny portion of the spam entering my inbox. I have the settings set to max but I still have to wade through dozens of advertisements for Viagra, Cialis and 'fabulous' watches. I don't like the program but unfortunately I downloaded it with a windows update and I can't seem to get rid of it. Don't want to mess around too much in case I risk losing valuable emails. Any advice please ??

Try running a Windows update again and let it update the spam filter definitions. May help hopefully
