Oscar_Mike, I, for one, am always delighted to see pictures of your dogs. So as far as I'm concerned, you don't post nearly enough!! ;)

She's really playfull and soft. She's so friendly and would run up to anybody for a bit of attention, even if she saw me from a few hundred feet away. Even though she is really gentle, her super sharp claws still hurt like hell when she attempts to sit on my lap :(

She's not even my cat :pac:

Hi Cazmcco lovely photos, what type of terrier are they? Ours looks similar but we don't know what exactly she is!

Unfortunately I haven't a clue what mix they are. I only saw the dad of the second dog. He was a terrier mix as well and shes very like him only a darker color.

Sorry I cant be of more help!

These are pics of our new baby Toby that we adopted from Laois SPCA yesterday. Toby is approx 2 years old and he's a black and white Pointer. We love him already, he's gorgous! Getting on very well with our dog Ben. He was supposed to have another friend too but unfortunately we had to have our other dog put to sleep on Monday morning. He was very old and had no quality of life. Funny how things happen, eh?

Toby was found straying about 6 weeks ago and was microchipped. The microchip was registered to the breeder and not his actual owner. When the SPCA contacted the breeder he said he'd take him back but said he was going to shoot him! :( Luckily he surrendered Toby to the SPCA and they took care of him. He's still quite skinny but we'll give him a lot of TLC here. He's a member of the family already. :D

so this is sheldon's first christmas in our house... he's been ours for over 7 months now. seems forever ago since he was all 'you stay over there and i'll be fine over here by myself, thanks'. now he's all 'oh, are you sitting there? cat i sit on top of your head?' :) he's such a cool cat, once he worked all the biting and agression out of himself [he was a scary feicer for a few weeks] i think he realised that we were gonna love him no matter how deep the bites and scratches were. it is too sentimental to say i think this cat might have saved me? cause i think he has :o

    here's some crappy phone pics...

This is Henry. We've just adopted him as a friend for Jake from the pound. All seems to be going well so far, introduced them on neutral ground and brought them for a walk together and they seem to be getting on well.

We think he's roughly a year old, he still has some baby teeth anyway. He's off to the vet first think Monday for a checkup and to book him to be neutered.

If anyone has tips on integrating the two so they get on feel free to send them this way :)

    Edit:

They seem to be getting on great, have had a bit of a play and are now both snoozing on the couch. :)

It's much easier to get a picture of him now, he's far too fast otherwise!

What's the app called, it would save a lot of costume making for my christmas cards?
btw there's a spooky monkey face stallking your cat in the top left corner.

I posted this in the Christmas forum the other day, but I thought you guys might appreciate it! Isabella under the tree! It's only a little tiny tree (so don't worry she isn't some kind of mutant hamster!) and the tree is on top of her SS present, it was the only way it could go under a tree (we don't have another one in the house this year)!

That dog is clearly matted. If thats what you call perfection I dread to think what your dog looks like.

Perhaps you think this is a different thread. Helpful advice is always welcome but people here tend not to throw about snide remarks about other members' pets and you appear to have signed up for just that purpose, so kindly......

Maybe quaylimepie is a groomer and is worried that he could be matted.

This is very very painful for a dog and makes grooming a horrible experience for the dog and the groomer. Lab/poodle crosses can suffer terribly if not groomed regularly and I know of 2 owners who didn't realise they they actually needed to be groomed. One of which needed medical attention due to the condition of the skin.

I don't know if the dog in the pic is badly matted or not as I'm not a groomer, just playing devils advocate. The comment might have been made through genuine concern. There is absolutely no doubt that he's one of the cutest and most loved dogs in the pic thread!! :D

In saying that I agree that the way it was said was very rude and seems like someone signed up just to be rude
