Anybody know what's the story with DRM and this package? It looks tempting, but I don't want another "game launcher" app, or always-on internet requirement.

As far as I know all the games require the uPlay launcher that ubisoft is forcing on people at the moment. Which is a shame.

Have you been able to buy game downloads before now? Please tell me they are not after restricting the downloads after all this time.

They aren't restricting. I just bought the Sega Classics pack there no problem. Make sure the billing address used is an american address
