Not sure if this was posted already, but the Paradox pack on Amazon is 93% off at the moment. $9.99 for the below games.

Crusader Kings 2, Magicka Collection, Swords in the Stars Collection, Victoria 2.

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ref=pe_26410_27089840_pe_vg_rpg_featuredb4_t/?ASIN=B008G0ZDZI

Haven't heard of any of the games in this collection. What kind/are they any good?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,101 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Crusader Kings is a pretty in-depth strategy. Similar to Total War, but with a lot less war and a lot more empire building/backstabbing/incest :)
Magicka is a fun action game, where you play a mage and blow stuff up.
Swords of the Stars is a 4x space strategy.

I made a small video on some of the good deals available at the moment. If it goes down well I might make it weekly.

Fair play to ya. I'd give it a watch every week incase I missed a bargain somewhere.

Good idea. Seems Friday is a bad day to do it. Green Man Gaming has already changed the prices, as has DL Gamer.

According to Anthony Burch, it's among the best examples of non-linear gaming your ever going to play. I bought the whole pack for this essentially.

PcGamer did a Crusader Chronicles recently, where one of the writers detailed his playthrough. Was a really entertaining read.

Do you have to set up a US Amazon account to buy those when they go live or will a regular .co.uk one do?

A regular .co.uk account will do but you need to have a US address in your account. You don't have to live there or know anybody living at the address though.

Not sure if the "Hardened" editions of Black Ops 2 left the shelves as quick as they do every other year, but for anyone who's interested, they've still got a few first hand in HMV in Glaway City.

Anyone know the cheapest place to buy Battlefield 3 Premium for PS3. I have the standard version with Karkland but want to go premium and have to have it on disk to use it in the 2nd PS3. PSN is €70 which is nuts. Cheers.

You can install the PSN version on more than one PS3 and play at the same time, if you bought it you could sell in your current copy of BF3 but you're unlikely to get much for it.

Thanks. I have it installed on both PS3's but as I'm looking to get Premium and Sony are charging ridiculous monies on PSN for a digital download of the full BF3 game + Premium addon (€70) was looking to have both machines running off disks without having to change them in and out. Also that way 2 people can play with different accounts. The only other way to get rid of the disks on both is for Sony to stop screwing its customers for digital downloads that cost them less than retail versions but thats not gonna happen anytime soon. Would love to have it diskless but no way I see yet unless someone wants to sell me cheap PSN credit.

It's already gone down to 39.99, so 30 quid off.

I bought Geometry Wars for a euro thinking it was the same as the Xbox one with that pacifism game mode. It was the old version with only one gamemode.

Honestly its €30 off a price nobody in their right mind would charge or pay. People are giving Sony a kicking over it on the PS blog, particularly when its a tenner dearer now than in was in the last sale. Its €30 new in Gamestop, €20 preowned. Premium is still overpriced in both PSN and Gamestop unfortunately so the search continues.
