Can we get back to "at least we're not Italian"? I was enjoying that.

To contribute: we once drove up towards a roundabout to get into Florence. All the cars ahead of us were pulling U turns and going back. When we got to the front of the queue and saw the roundabout we realised why, there was a row of 6 cars all shunted right into each other, with the drivers and passengers all screaming at each other out of the windows. Not one of them would step out of the car to assess the damage or resolve the situation, as if the first person to do so would be accepting the blame.

Hilarious that would be a funny movie clip - maybe a load of fiat 500s and everyone blathering in Italian!

Did Tragedy visit Italy at that time?:p

Always expect the unexpected whether it be at a roundabout, motorway or car park. I always assume the driver in front of me is going to do something wrong and i'm proven right 90% of the time :D

    Absolutely.
All I can say is that if you assume, you're making an ass out of u and me.
And that assumption is the mother of all fcuk ups.
Arguing in front of the judge "I drove into the roundabout because I assumed the other car was going to turn off" will get you "Guilty! Next!" in very short order.
