    Thanks for that insight.

Will this be a world record low attendance at an away game for you's? Obviously excluding those games you were banned from attending

Just once is like to see a Celtic fan appear on this thread without a barbed comment, you really do come across as a bitter, bitter bunch if people.

Mind you, in surprised you'd bring up attendances like that, I didn't realise the Green Brigade had 45,000 members...

With the CEO you have, making the statements and claims he does, what do you expect?

Its no different to if snoop dog did become CEO of Celtic, and was to conduct himself in the manner green does, say for instance turn up to every press conference in a shell suit, with an entourage of ho's, rapping his way through the financial results, you'd have to expect others to take the piss

Just keeping you up to date, if you're gonna spend so much time showing "an interest" in Rangers, were entirely happy to make sure you're kept up to date with goings on at parkhead.
    ;)

Did you give an update of the score on Wed night and what that means for Celtic??

I suppose it can be hard to discern when we have 45-59,000 people singing in unison.

Traynor was the first (and pretty much only one) who reported the facts in the mainstream media.

Covering up ? My arse he did.

Great dig at Phillie bhoy by Traynor too.

As for Spiers, the less said about him the better, he's been shown up as a lying idiot time and time again, most recently by Chris Graham.

Is that the same Jim Traynor who claimed Craig Whyte was a billionaire???

Maybe he means the Traynor who said Celtic signing your namesake for a cut price would cause them 'embarrassment' :pac:

The man is objectively a shocking journalist and I honestly thought most Rangers fans would be pretty self concious about being associated with him. Guess not.

Not really, all we need to do is count the people there.

Which is perfectly possible these days.

As for Traynor: He was one of the first ones to see through Whyte, doesn't really matter if he first believed it as well.

But hey, can't be a good journo simply because he lays into Stokes I guess.

What are Rangers complaining about with this boycott nonsense, they have no-one to blame but themselves for their difficulties and demotion. Rangers may be guilty of bringing the game into disrepute by urging their supporters to boycott the cup tie V Dundee Utd, if they are the SFA should throw the book at them. What exactly are they trying to achieve with this boycott. Even if they are angry with the Dundee Utd Chairman, it'd be more in their line to just get on with playing football. FFS wouldn't you think they'd be eager to just get on with playing football, instead of harping back to their recent financial issues and the fallout from it.

Why should we line that **** Thomson's pockets with more money?
The history with Dundee Utd goes back a lot further than recent issues, but even if it didn't - why should the Rangers support make life easier for a man who stated that his club "Didn't need Rangers" and was one of the most outspoken chairmen of the lot when it came to the feeding frenzy of last season?

Why then, is he on the phone asking Rangers to waive their share of the gate? Why then is he running off to the SFA asking them to get involved?
Why then, did he see fit to charge the Rangers support doubly for a postponed game a couple of years ago?

    Simple economics, that's why.

Well he's made his bed and he can lie in it.
Whatever Charity recieves Rangers share of the gate reciepts will be delighted with it, i'm sure.

Personally, I'm all for the Rangers support boycotting ANY SPL ground we're drawn against untill regan is out on his arse.
That can only be a good thing for Scottish Football as a whole.

If they feel aggrieved wouldn't they be better off concentrating on trying to get one over on them by winning the football match, instead of engaging in posturing.

    I would support this, indefinitely.

Also, I know Rangers aren't exactly in the habit of caring what people think of them but the boycott is seemingly making you look like a bit of a laughing stock to most neutrals/outsiders, so again, I am in favour of it going ahead.

Sick and tired of this usual 'Just get on with it' bull****.

**** that, if we as fans and club feel that certain people are against us then I feel we should handle it.

And this is a good way of handling it.

What the same posturing other clubs fans did last year with their talk of boycotts. Rangers are not breaking any rules according to the SFA rule book and a couple of charities benifitting is great

As for the sporting side of things, I'm fairly confident the squad will be well up for it.

It's a good way to go about distracting yourselves from concentrating on what ye are supposed to be doing as a football club. 'Tis your own loss, wasting your energies and time on pointless posturing.

And what, pray tell, are we "Supposed to be doing as a football club"?
As far as I can tell, the club is fulfilling the fixture by sending players and staff to the game, i'm damn sure those players and stuff will be doing everything they can to win the match.

    What's the problem?

Exactly, what is the problem, what's the boycott about? Get on with it and quit the greetin and posturing, is what I'd say. Rangers official stance on this matter is making themselves look rather foolish and immature in my view. Off ye go.

I don't know what the argument is here. Rangers fans want to boycott the game, pretty much everyone else wants them to make a show of themselves by doing it. Everyone should be happy, for once.

Wow - "Quit Greetin' and Posturing" eh?

Didn't Celtic's biggest fan group just boycott their own stadium recently?
Didn't fans of Celtic, Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, Motherwell and others claim that they would start boycotting their own team if Rangers were'nt correctly punished during last season's free for all?

    And we're greetin' and posturing?

You're replies here stench of nothing more than a dislike of Rangers, the problem is clear for all to see - in fact, i even typed it out for you a few posts ago! That's all fine and well, but if you don't mind i'll just lower myself to your level for a second and say Jog On.

Loose translation for anyone outwith Rangers and Celtic fans - I hate Rangers and more importantly, their fans so much that it's eating me from the inside out, won't someone help take away this pain.

Sorry dude, i''ve just noticed this.
I didn't and you're right to bring it too my attention - you see it seems that Bhosca was happily watching the game and posting in it's related threads that night.

I'm beginning to think he might be the Rod Stewart of the Soccer Forum, and only turns up for the big games.
    ;)

big difference though tomorrow is that the club officially sanction it

Well, it would be rather odd if Celtic backed a boycott of their own stadium!
    :D

It's not really about that though, Celtic FC as far as i know, have not said a word on the situation - the fans are though, and the same goes for many of those clubs who also threatened their own clubs with boycott.
    It's odd.

I think celtic on balance are best staying quiet, they cant win either way

lol come ontae Jelle. The Internet bampots were all over Craig Whyte and exposing him within weeks of him taking up the post. A simple google check showed would let anyone who chose not to believe Traynors claims of billionaire and of a £25 million war chest for McCoist. Mark Daly was all over him in a bbc documentary and you all wanted Whyte to pursue with a lawsuit. Traynor is a mad spoofer and you know that as well as I do. To be honest am delighted yous have employed him
