    Newgrange/Nowth/Dowth.

Amazing creations considering the technology (or lack thereof) of the time, and the scale of the project. Consider that the people who started it... ...well their great grand children probably wouldn't have seen it completed.

What about the beautiful portrait of Nell McCafferty by the excellent Daniel Mark Duffy.

Gonna submit a work of my own, if that's allowed.

Only took me eight hours to create, but I am proud of it and it's as good as anything you'd see at any art exhibition:

Slightly less character than Tracey Emin's effort, therefore much better.
    Well done you!

If I had to pick one single piece, I'd say Hamlet by Shakespeare.

Not sure, haven't seen it. I was moved by a stained glass window in Krakow, by Stanislaw Wyspianski. Can't remember which church but it depicts and majestic, bearded old man. God or Gandalf, I reckons...

I've only ever really looked at one painting for more than a couple of minutes. The Opening of the Sixth Seal by Francis Danby just left me astounded. its in the national gallery

But in my opinion, film (movies) is the true art as it marries music, literature, cinematography and many, many other art forms to provide an all encompassing art package.

If they make it entertaining, I give it extra points and therefore Goodfellas is the perfect piece of art

    I'm pretty sure it's Gandalf.

I don't think it's 'like my face', I believe it's titled 'Shaddap You Face', and the artist is Joe Dolce.
