coffee and fine coffee grinds?

Hey all,

I was wondering if someone could explain to me the difference between very strong coffee and fine coffee grinds?

As I am new to coffee and a recipe I am cooking requires:
2 tablespoons very strong coffee
2 tablespoons fine coffee grinds.

I was recommended to buy coffee off http://www.hasbean.co.uk or to head into Dublin http://www.3fe.com/menu/coffee1/

I should also mention I want to start drinking coffee and am totally inexperienced, I am a big tea drinker and le palais de thes in Dublin serves me well

Do I need to purchase a coffee grinder ? Or are all the above stupid questions and can anyone recommend a place in Dublin to visit and I can ask all these stupid questions in person :pac:

Best thing to do is to go to either 3FE as recommended above or Coffee Angel on South Anne St. and have a chat about how you're brewing and what coffee you like. Buy some coffee from them, or a grinder and some coffee if that suits your budget. Then go home and enjoy

2 tablespoons of very strong coffee is probably close to a double shot of espresso. This is coffee in its 'brewed' form.
2 tablespoons of fine coffee grinds are what is says on the tin i.e. the coffee hasn't been brewed yet.

Tell us more about the recipe as we are a curious bunch and may be able to advise further.
