We have wenger for the rest of the season so we better hope he can turn it around

Surely I'm not the only unblinkered arsenal fan. Chesney is overrated. We need a proper keeper and until we get one Vito should start

Are you serious? He's literally the only positive of the last few games.

No me either. There has been feck all money the last few years.

No matter how bad it's going Wenger deserves the full season and if money is realistically available next year he should be allowed to stay on ans spend it.

Maybe but it's not all about money.
There are teams above us who have spent a lot less and teams that have won trophies and spent a lot less too. What is annoying me is the lack of game-plan, motivation and effort and that is down to Wenger.I never mind losing as long as we play with passion and pride. We are not doing that for a long time now.

I agree there is a serious lack of motivation running through the players. no effort put in. I don't see Wenger as a motivator though. Never really have. It's not his strength. Maybe pat rice did more then people gave him credit for? I dunno!! We have massive problems

Do you honestly believe that Mannone was better in goal than Woj has been since he came back?

Today, not at fault for either goal, and made some good saves. No mistakes.

Everton, again not at fault for goal. More important stops.

    Clean sheet at villa.

Spurs, was unlucky not to hold the ball for Adebayors goal. Don't think there was anything he could have done for the second from what I remember.

    You're talking through your hoop.

I really need to hear you vent m8 ! I`m shattered ! I just pray we won`t be in 14th place and try to convince new signing :COAT: in 30 days from today. Sczy was very good btw.

Right back home from the emirates and not in a good mood.

    Where do i start?

ok lets start with our attacking play. umm actually lets move on because THERE IS **** ALL TO TALK ABOUT AS WE DID **** ALL attacking wise.

Next up our midfield. hopeless. ****ing hopeless. all arteta, wilshere, carzola did was ****ing pass backwards and sideways all ****ing game. i was literelly falling asleep for ****sakes during the game! that is a first. imagine that. falling asleep inside the stadium watching your team play. something is not right.

Now on to our Defence. U see i think this was the only thing we did OK on. yes ok we let in two **** goals but i am talking about our defence as a whole. it did ok. What made our defence look **** was our attacking play. we did **** all in attacking and we did fall all when we had the ball! So it gave people the illusion that our defence was **** but tbh honest it wasnt. shezney made 2-3 world class saves and mertesaka and vermalen made some great critical tackles.

Its just that when u play **** in the rest of the pitch and chasing a goal, your defence will look ****.

Right, on to the fans and atmosphere. We started off in a positive mood chanting and singing but **** hit the fan 2nd half.

we was angry and fustrated at our team that keep passing sideways and backwards. no one willing to take a shot on goal and constant ****ty reasons why we lose the ball(holding up the ball too long, making silly passes etc etc).

once the 2nd goal went in i kicked the chair in front of me in anger. never been sooo ****ING angry for a long time. was ready to punch someone tbh and ****ing left the stadium after that **** went in.

I overheard some arguing among our fans on the way into the tunnel as well. not good.

U see i have tried to be patient with wenger. i have tried to stop wanting him out and lowering my expectations for him and this club but this is just too much for me. what am i to do now? Shall i now expect our team and wenger to do no better but to qualify for uefa cup? Because THAT is the only way i would be satisfied with this **** from wenger and the team.

This is unacceptable. everyone in the stadium feels my anger. we all booed the useless players on the pitch.

I dont think i can back Wenger if this keeps on happening. He has turned players liek carzola, podolski and even wilshere as average **** players who cant shoot from more then 2 yards away from goal or knows how to pass forward.

Yes I do to an extent. OK I agree with you that he is a better keeper. The point I'm trying to make badly is that our defence looks more comfortable with Vito behind it Vito is only solid in most areas positioning shotstopping kicking etc. Woj excels in some areas like positioning and shot stopping but loses points for throwing and kicking so yes just me but I'd rather Vito in goal

    OK. I disagree.

Mannone is a championship keeper, absolute ****.

Szczesny is error prone but far more talented. He's been v good this week.

The good thing is that there is only 5 points between 10th place, us and 3rd place Chelsea. All not lost yet, but not a squad that other teams will be afraid of. There are no easy games now in the PL for any club. Wenger needs to do something about the team and get some backbone in it for the new year.

Either wenger has taking arsenal as far as he can go or the players are just happy collect their wages every week they have no fight and no desire we have replaced world class players with players who wouldn't start in most top European clubs (cazorla being the exception) we need to bring in world class players which won't happen coz we are pinning all our hopes on the FFP rules kicking in which will be nothing more than a slight discomfort for the big spenders either things have to change at the top at arsenal or we can get used to languishing in 10th place .. I will always support arsenal through the good and bad would just rather the club showed a bit more love for the fans instead of putting the prices of everything up every year to line their own pockets....

Thought things couldn't get any worse.
We have 21 points out of a possible total of 45.

Is there anything to be said for giving Arshavin and Chamakh a run in the first team?

Missed the game today lads but got the result on livescore and to be honest nothing surprises me any more with this Arsenal team.

Worst thing to happen to the club was David Dein leaving he was the driving force behind Arsene, ever since he left the xlub has been on a steady decline.

    Absolutely gutted by todays result!

I think Arshavin warrants a start, but would it change anything? I don't really know... he lacks pace but can unlock the defense with a nice through ball. Id give him a shot instead of Gerv who is proving a lemon signing.

Its just all so static these days, the passing is to feet and the movement is terrible. No strong runs from deep positions, no overlaps, no one-two's, no link up play, no first time passes, no ideas.

We need another French midfield enforcer in the Viera/Diaby mould, the midfield just isnt working.

I dont really buy this "the team is jaded" line either, Everton played the same team against City today and created loads of chances, no lack of running or effort, its only a poor excuse.

I'd rather see eisfield and gnarby getting a run

Think we should make a bid for Fellani in jan

He'd need assurances that he's not moving from one mid-table team to another

Any of the top 3 want him we won't have a chance

Whatever happened to that old triangle setup we used to have between a player on the ball and two others that are looking for the pass? Meant there was almost always a pass to be played whether it be forwards or sideways, but seldom the ball was passed backwards as much as it is nowadays.
It almost seems like nowadays that players are hiding from receiving the ball, we can't be expecting Cazorla to be the hub of all our creative talent. For as good as he is, he isn't the same as Fabregas.

Why not, we can only lose, and we are doing that frequently. :D

I feel a little bit better now (not much though) after looking at the fixture list for the month ahead, all winnable. (West Brom home, Reading away, Wigan away, West Ham home, Newcastle home, Southampton away on Jan 1)

Less than ten points from those 6 games and we're totally screwed. If we continue our current form through those 6 games we'll most likely be down in 12th or 13th heading into the new year.

Something is very wrong right now; it sometimes appears as though the players are no longer playing for Wenger. On paper, only the Manchester clubs and Chelsea are stronger than us, he is not getting the best out of his team. I'm a huge fan of Wenger so I hate to say that.

I still believe he will see out his contract, he's not one to walk out on a contract. And the board won't sack him, well there's always a chance but I think that's extremely unlikely. Plus, I don't think they would be willing to pay him the 11 or 12 million pounds to buy out the remainder of his contract.

I think he will retire from football in 2014, he won't renew his contract, and the board will happily let him see out his contract. (In fact, I think the board will still try to extend his contract, and when that fails they'll probably offer him an "upstairs" job)
