Of course he needs regular football but when he's fully fit.
Wenger obviously bought Giroud to replace RVP as he knew he'd leave. He hasn't anyone to replace Walcott on the wing except OX who is far from the finished article. His progress has slowed in my opinion and his first touch and crossing seem poor at times.
My point about players leaving and very few of them being successful is true. Of course there are exceptions like Cesc, Henri and probably RVP but many others left and didn't do as well as they thought. Didn't Spurs buy the current French keeper and he didn't walk onto their team.

I'm beginning to wonder if Oxo is a natural winger at all, his physicality might be better utilised in the centre somewhere.

He might make a good DM in time. He has the build of Song.

He looks far better running at defences through the middle, it's a waste sticking him on the wing IMO.

Anyone know how Miyaichi has been getting on this season? Wiki says he only has three appearances.

    Just watching Mata on t.v.
Why oh why didn't we go for him. Brilliant and intelligent and never stops running.

:O Madness, AM is his position, CM at the deepest. He has too good of a shot to be wasted at DM.

He was all set to join us wasn't he? Then Chelsea blew us out of the water

Rumours circulating that Gervinho is set to replace Giroud as CF - this perplexes me.

I would try him everywhere until his best position is found. Not madness at all.

    That was confirmed pretty quick

Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla, Walcott, Podolski, Gervinho.

EDIT - Squillaci on the bench !!! is Djourou injured ? Good to see Rosicky back though

Substitutes: Mannone, Squillaci, Coquelin, Ramsey, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Giroud.

I felt there was something niggling Sagna in midweek as he never tried to cross a ball with his right foot during the game and he in good positions.
I don't like to see Squillachi on the bench especially as he's the only central defender named.

Sagna was poor defensively and in attack on Wednesday - he could well have been carrying something. That's disappointing when we have such an admirable deputy for his position.

Giroud needs a rest and Swansea play a high line which suits Gervinho more (I think they do anyway), it makes some sense, would still rather Giroud though.

Chelsea loss, good chance to put a bit of pressure on them now. Big effort today hopefully.

Third and Fourth up for grabs at the minute, good to see!

They're not looking a shoe in to finish above us anymore, just like last season they started well too. If only we could get our **** together now, could be a big three points today.

    You can start now.

What the f*ck was Jenkinson doing?!?!?!

    Sack the board, keep Wenger.

Eh, done now? Game doesn't need to finish for me to see that this team is pathetic. He can't even motivate them anymore, its beyond a joke.

The board have nothing to do with Wenger's team selections, tactics and ability to not coach a team to use corners to any sort of effectiveness.

Cazorla/Wilshere/Arteta DOESN'T WORK. It's not difficult to see that.

I really am starting to believe the 'few' fans Wenger doesn't know what he is doing, he seems all out of ideas at Arsenal. The performances and effort this season are awful never mind results. I really think now its time to go. The board won't have the balls but its been years now. Today was just another disgrace no chances and fcuking Swansea had 6/7 at our home pitch no manager at any top club would get away with this.

Absolutely disgraceful. Im not saying Wenger out neccessarily but something has to change and has to change soon, regardless of what people say about our players we have players who should be brushing aside Swansea and Villa at ease.

So its tactics, motivation etc, play deep against us and were stuffed devoid of ideas.

    Still top half I think.

I can now say that I will be not watching Arsenal games anymore.

Why should I bother to care when the Board,Wenger and players don't.

The last three games (in particular) have been dreadful to watch. Shocking stuff.

The one plus is that maybe they will be forced to stump up some cash in January like when we signed Arshavin.
