Does anyone know if they have a cooling off period if your package price is changed?

I rang to cancel a few days ago and i was offered cheaper sky, I was told i could rethink it in January but reading the forums i'm not sure that is the case now

i'm sitting on hold with sky now grrrr:mad:

do not take skys word for anything over the phone.had sky enginneer in my house for a couple of hours i came to the decision my phoneline issues where impossible to resolve and decided to remove all sky equipment from my house, wherupon the engineer rang his supervisor who came on the phone and promised me 20 per cent off and several other things which he now claims never happened and are beyond his remit.have since been able to prove half of his lies with sky in england and am going to go as far as i can with my case to relevent people.he even gave me his personal mobile no and i will not let this rest.anyone any similar expieriances?
