Locked on the Ha'penny Bridge

Was quite drunk the other night. I noticed a load of padlocks locked onto the ha'penny bridge. They were still there yesterday - witnessed through sober eyes. What's the deal? Have I missed out on some new hipster trend??!!

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? I think its the nice country folk that think that in a thread about the Ha'penny Bridge, it must be specified for some reason that its the one in Dublin, the famous landmark and only one by that name in the country ?
