    Assad probably has an iPhone with private wireless. Sitting pretty there - I heard he's actually a Boards user, Badasher1971 and posts regularily in Motors giving out about lane-hoggers. I never liked his posts, always find them too dictatorial.

    I was in Syria a few years back. Internet was banned outright at the time. There were a couple of places on backstreets that had some illegal set up but that was it. It was actually at the time Assad became leader after the death of his father.
