PS3 unknown error code.. can't finad online

    hey guys,
    can anyone help us with an error code '800233e8'
    or playstations store has seemingly been uninstalled, and unable to re download, and no downloads download either such as updates.. any help greatly appreciated..

    Hey,

    Unfortunately I can't be of any help but I have the exact same problem.

    When I go to access the store some text reads 'To access this feature, you must first download software' so I select proceed and begin downloading a 26 MB file. The download only ever reaches 50% or 75% before it freezes for a few minutes. Then I'm told that an error occurred (800233E8) and that's the end of that.

    I'm getting really frustrated now because I haven't been able to access the Playstation Store for about 2 weeks. I have content there that I've already paid for but can't download.

    I'm guessing my problem is the same as yours and I hope we can find a solution!
