Hi, I've just taken a dead bird from the cold water storage tank in the attic.

What is the best course of action to take now to cleanse the system - ie should I pour in a bottle of bleach and flush that through the pipes and immersion?

It's quite small, only around 100litres.

    Thanks for any tips!!!

Dont do that, it could cause damage to your services, go to the chemist and get chlorine tablets put them in your tank let them dissolve and then flush that tru

Thanks for that. someone else suggested Milton - but chlorine tabs sound good.
