Another NAMA developer offs himself. His brother did himself in 10 years ago.
This guy was 49, lost everything......and there are people who are saying it's so sad!!!
Couldn't the guy have lived out his life in the miniscule comfort of always having a roof over his head a 3 squares in his belly...even after the coke, hookers and mile-high-club blow jobs were a thing of the past forever?

    Classy title, classy post.
Whatever you think of the man, he left family behind who are in mourning. He didn't kill anyone, rape anyone, cause misery or starvation or start wars.
He built a business and created jobs, and like a lot of other people he was caught out by the economic collapse of 2008.
It's a sad event, and the tone you've taken hardly elevates matters. To my mind, your post is way too close to stigmatising the suicidal and blaming them for being selfish and taking the easy way out, a way of thinking that I had hoped we'd moved on from as a nation.

If everyone did that, there would be no entrepreneurs, no Apple or Microsoft or <insert global business success story here>, there would be few if any decent jobs and we would still be living in a semi-feudal agrarian society.

He may have overshot the mark, I don't know, so many people seemed to lose the run of themselves during the Celtic Diseased Kitten, led by the bankers and the government.

I'm not sure that he did anything to deserve the tasteless rant which is the first post though. Given that I've just been woken by my phone pinging with a stream of reported posts (within a few minutes and in the middle of the night), I'm not the only one who thinks so.
