Anyone else still waiting on SUSI Grant?

Shocking that Ruairi Quinn still thinks they have enough staff and thats apparently what SUSI is telling him. Its plainly obvious they don't and he should do something about

I did get my grant (

) but same as above no back payment for October. Wondering will I still get it and when. I borrowed money form my dad and has bills to pay so I need to pay him back soon which I was planning on doing with the back payment. So anyone know for sure what the story on this is

Edit: Just saw an email there saying another 263 is being lodged today. Its been exactly one week since my first payment so it took me a week to get the backlog payment.

Just my timeline for people wondering how long things take.

Sent of my final course acceptance form off 15 oct
Received grant and enter my bank details 1 Nov
Got first payment on 16th and got a back payment today 23rd

Considering how bad its been for some others I am happy with that time scale. Good luck to rest atleast they are starting to get thing done

Just got my first response today from Susi, a solid 3 weeks after my sister got hers after we applied on the same day. Could anyone tell me what course acceptance proof is? I have a proof of registration for my course that my sister needed for her application(siblings in full time educ) Would this suffice?

Is there anything else i need from my college? I hear mentions of attendance proof, is this required/how would i get this? Most of my lecturers dont take attendance . Just want to have everything to send off and not have them come back to me in a month and spring something else upon me. Theyve have outlined number of items but the only thing from college they mention is proof of acceptance. Is this correct? Thanks

Just download the final course acceptance form from the CDVEC website and send it off to them

They only started using it again Id say the past week they also on twitter now as well but I dont know if its doing any good

. Im still waiting to see if Ive been awarded yet. Going up the walls now at this stage.

So after sending my document pack in (again) and waiting ages for a reply, they now say they need my leaving cert results and P45 from where i worked last summer. Seems awfully like a time wasting strategy. Any chance of my grant being accepted/paid in december?

) but they told me I've been awarded and to enter my bank details. Did anyone else receive a phone call?

Fook i missed two private numbers, but have already entered bank details. in answer to your question, i was sent out a letter requesting input of bank details, and a guy on the phone said this was how it was done, as i asked do i need to wait for the letter or can i go ahead, had to wait for the letter though.

At least this speeds up things a bit instead of people waiting to receive letters.

Friend of mine got that call today also.

I think they are trying to speed everything up.

I got my installment today. Got two installments.
My timeline:

Applied: June 11th (first day)
Request for Documents: August 22nd
Request for more documents: Mid September, date unsure. (I'd like to add, even though it wasn't even necessary!!!:mad:)
I didn't wait to be asked to send the FCA. It was send: October 18th
Letter of acceptance: November 13th
First payment date: November 23rd

I received this call on Wednesday, asking me to enter bank details. BUT I had received a letter saying I was awarded 50%tuition fees and 100% student contribution (subject to maximum of 3135). Maintenance grant €0.00
So why do they need my bank details? Will they put the college fee into my account? I assumed they would just pay the college directly. Maybe they are gonna give me maintenance now

still havent heard a thing from SUSI, sent the final course acceptance form two or three weeks ago but nothing, definitely ringing tomorrow...enough is enough.

It's getting so frustrating at this stage. I got an email on the 12th of October asking for more documentation, I sent it off the same day, I've heard nothing since. Rang them on Friday and they told me they only got it last week so they don't know when my application will be looked at again and it has been put to the back of the queue. It's beyond a joke.

Am in same situation myself. Had to resend documents and not a peep since from them. Rang earlier and they couldn't even tell me if the documents I resent 2 weeks ago had been received. So frustrating.

Hey, Facebook messaging them actually works! I sent the main desk an email over a week ago and no reply, I sent a message to the Facebook page yesterday and I got a reply today!:)

Just wondering if there's a difference between "pending review" and the message I got back saying "your documentation has been recieved and assessed and is now awaiting a final review?

No difference except it seems to take forever to get the review done. Maybe they are short of 'reviewers':(

Got my approval letter this morning full maintenance and 89% fees adjacent. Not entirely sure what this means, but happy days either way. Is the amount they say you're getting including the money for fees or is that just what you're being given as maintenance?
