Taxi from Shannon Airport to Galway

Hi,
I am travelling with 4 others to Ireland in March for a Hen party in Galway. So I was wondering if you could recommend any taxi firms around the area that would be reasonable rates from the airport to Galway city on a Friday night.

If you set in getting a taxi you could try ringing a few different numbers to see if they'll do a deal with you

Bus Eireann offer a daily service from Shannon Airport to Galway.

The bus leaves Shannon at the following times:

07:55 08:55 09:55 10:55 11:55 12:55 13:55 14:55

15:55 16:55 17:55 18:55 19:55 20:55

Or you could hire a car if you dont want to be tied down by timetables

Try pk coaches in Shannon. They operate various size transportation and regularly do runs from there to various parts of the country with small groups Of people.

when ringing around or searching I would look for hackney services which usually work out much cheaper for such journeys

There are a couple of such in the Shannon region ...... but do not forget the Galway region also as there might well be someone being brought to Shannon from Galway and a return journey might be available at cheaper rate

The two main hackney firms in Shannon are

Ace Cabs 061 475475 and Richies 061 708708. Give them a buzz for a quote, I'd say they'd be delighted to help you out.
