Possibly a former rear gate lodge to St Patrick's Hospital?

There's one at the front entrance on Steeven's Lane.

It's right across the entrance from Royal Hospital Kilmainham (Military road entrance).

It's possibly that alright but doeen't look lived in and yet it's kept quite well by the looks of it.

If you go to the OSI site and locate it and then click on the historic maps, it shows it marked as a Lodge.
