    Hi all
Not sure if this thread should be here or in a garmin devices type forum but they are both for cycling so I said I'd throw it in here.
I've been using a forerunner405 for a year or so now (very happy with it). I recently bought an edge 500 and I'm trying to see if I can use it on the same account and on the same computer. I have downloaded the latest edge 500 software but it still won't send the data from last nights turbo session.
Does anyone know what I need to do? Or is this even possible?
    Regards,
    Slo

    Hi Slo,

Glad to see the training is going well. I use both a Forerunner 50 and the Edge for different training sessions. Does your 405 upload via the ANT USB stick thing? From what I remember, the ANT stick is most likely set to auto and therefore every time you try to upload, Garmin Connect automatically looks for info via the ANT stick. Your Edge is connected via cable and will not be picked up. By right clicking on the ANT logo in the tool bar, (a little head symbol) i think, you can turn this off. With Edge connected (don't turn on the power) and when the computer verifies that it is there (shows it as a drive in My Computer), press Upload on the Garmin page and it should find the Edge for you. Both will work on the same account.

Been away from all things bike/training related for a few days. Only checked boards this morning and got your message. PERFECT!
That worked first time. I'm delighted.
Now I'll definitely be able to ride faster :)
    Thanks ratracer
