EdenHazard would hate my vision of an LA-based protagonist. It would be half Larry David, half Michael Douglas in Falling Down. Now that's a game I wanna play.

Someone betrays him, he goes completely nuts looking for revenge, finally shoots the guy who betrayed him who in his dying breath, reveals he didn't actually betray him and it was just a misunderstanding

:D Shut up and take my money!

Trevor for me could be the guy to be the guy to go on rampages with. I don't play GTA and just go around killing everyone in sight because I like to play how the characters would behave as if it was constantly in cut scenes/a movie.

For example so far Michael doesn't exactly seem like the kinda guy who would just go around shooting peds, well ha unless he had a Michael Douglasesque break down like in that movie!

Answer me this: What does a person who "looks like a guy who goes around shooting peds"? Is it the same good looking perfect character you referred to earlier

So you choose to be stereotypical and prejudicial too?

Ease off and calm down. Last warning before cards are handed out. People are trying to read far more into some other people's comments than is necessary.

No, I said I don't usually play the game and just go around killing anybody. I prefer more discrete deaths(which actually I don't think have really been improved enough in the series so far) However this Trevor guy could be the lunatic to break the game up but at same time keep the realism of the story.

Its clear as day already that Michael and Franklin are not gonna be evil guys who take joy in murder. They are involved in crime to be rich or whatever but I doubt they are cold blood killers, but with Trevor it looks as if he could go on a rampage and not feel any guilt. Have I lost you, or do you just play the game different than I do?

This guy on GTAForums kinda touches on what I'm getting at
ome very ignorant replies here. I think I see what the OP is saying. I kill lots of peds by the way but the OP could be on to something.

If you give peds their own worth and life then the game can get more interesting. Reasons why.

(Im thinking this for during story, not so much when your farting about)

    1. More realistic not doing day time killings in the street. Especially when you are playing as Michael.

    2. When you do eventually accidently kill a ped you may actually start to feel bad, giving more immersion.

    3. Killing peds actually becomes a big deal. The shock factor comes back.

Anyone remember running over peds with ragdoll psysics for the first time. It was kind of sick and gave you that nasty enjoyment in a sick way? Now we're all de-sensitized to it. It's normal and you don't really feel bad for the peds.

Well maybe it could be like that again?

I'm not sure which is worse, our spring debate or the search on the GTAForum for the real life inspiration for Michaels house:D

DMC: Devil May Cry - January
    Metal Gear Rising - February
God of War: Ascension - March

Added into that bits of Borderlands 2, Hitman, and hopefully a full replay of GTAIV and the DLC, maybe even a replay of RDR if I have time...

Should be enough to pass the time until it comes out

Gas man. African Cup of Nations is too corrupt for my liking! :p And I'm guessing you don't have a bird......no bloke in his right mind should be 'eagerly awaiting' Valentines.

I'm putting my money on it being released on Friday Mar 22nd. The reason.....I'm going to Amsterdam for 4 nights on the 22nd so I fully expect it to clash with GTA. I'd get back on Monday and all of ye have 100% by then and are awaiting information on DLC and the PS4 iteration of it. :p

Can't be, there's a mission where you choose to kill either him or PlayboyX in IV

Second day of Spring, eh? ;)

I've a feeling about the end of April. Probably because I'm away on holiday then and therefore won't be able to play the game. It would though make the long flight back mroe bareable to know that a nice new copy of GTA V is waiting for me the other end....

Yeah, but they could easily play it off as being "Niko killed Playboy X". Same with if any of the McReary (Packie most likely) family are in GTAV. They could say whether Kate or Roman were killed.

Happens all the time in games. There may be different endings and stuff to games, and the next game would tell you which ending they're keeping as part of the continuity. Look at Metal Gear Solid 1. You could either choose to save Meryl or let her die. In the next game it's revealed that you chose to save Meryl (even if you didn't, but storyline wise, you now did)

Need to replay MGS2... I could've sworn that they went down the route of just never mentioning it...

As am I. Im planning a trip to NYC last week of April. It might work in my favour though because the USA release might be a day or two before the EU release. Im not 100% sure if R* release to all markets at the same time.

PAL and crap won't do any favours though.
