Seems easy enough to do: http://m.cnet.com/news/how-to-dual-boot-windows-7-with-windows-8/57511894?ds=1

My mam is getting it for €20 so no harm in trying it out for that price.

Make sure its the Full edition and not the upgrade edition

Afaik the upgrade will not allow a custom install on its own partition.

Also depending on immovable files you may not be able to shrink the partition down even if you have enough space.

In that case you will need to use a third party tool like Easus to split the HDD up

Make sure you have at least 20 GB free to install 8 on

Best of luck and any probs give me a shout

I was thinking along those lines too 'ah sure, 'what's 20 euro'

Then I remembered how much I spent on my laptop and decided against it

Anything fancy? I'd say it's only a matter of time before you get Vampire's Kiss CIB.

...while I do love the "Be Proud Mr Woo!" and "you no mess with Lo Wang" stylings of Shadow Warrior , "Blood" is still a slightly better game (hey I even like Blood 2).

Nothing that great game wise, just the usual selection of the top selling PAL games around that time. Got a Vader 2600 in box that needs a little bit of a clean and maybe some internal repairs (not tested it yet and she didn't have a psu). The c64 games I already have every one of them but at least I have more copies of them now :)

Well, I also get troubles dropped on my desk but at least the freebies make it a little easier to take.

It's retr0 and sera! He had also just opened a copy of goldeneye and was so excited to tune it into his tv using rf.

Yeah, they've been dating a while, judging by that video!

The tears shortly afterwards when he found out it was not only supplied with an RF, but the pack in game was Shadows of the Empire, much tears in the Retr0/Sera household that day....

So it seems the game design course I'm in is focusing on casual games and we'll only be making casual games. Any chance I can pass off my idea of a game about a katana wielding japanese schoolgirl tear arsing around using the power of ultra violence to destroy organised religion could pass as a casual game?

You might get away with it if you suffix every second line with '......and micro-transactions'.

    I've a better idea. Killer schoolgirl-ville.

Casual can mean a lot of things. Call of duty is casual. So are a lot of arcade games. Just phrase your words correctly to get the project you want.

I'm gonna go to GameStop today and ask if they should get Under Defeat HD. Don't feel like ordering online with a jacked up postage cost from Amazon.

Isn't it better than being charged an extortionate amount?

Maybe get someone to forward it on to you from a Parcel Motel?

If you get it delivered to the UK address you can avail of UK delivery charges from Amazon which are usually alot more generous. It's something to think about anyway.
