    I'm studying radio and it's part of a thing called Radio Days (Not the movie). I'll get to meet everyones "Favourites", such as Tubridy, Pat Kenny and all the other people that make RTE Radio "Ireland's Favourite".

    Do they think it's time that some of the 'favourites' who have made their money and had their time in the limelight to move on and make way for a new generation of broadcasters?
    Would the fact that this could also reduce the salary spendings of RTE as a whole also make it a good idea?

    My inner 3 year old would love to see the studio where Bosco was filmed all those years ago :-D

    "How can you justify your salaries whilst we the listeners and viewers have to shell-out an exorbitant €160 for a 'so called' TV Licence. Yes the BBC across the water also benefits from licence fee monies, but unlike RTE, their viewers aren't bombarded with advertisements every few minutes?"

    I've no idea who danny dyer is so felt I missed the joke there but I'm not sure how successful the Rubber Bandits would be branching out from Limerick humour.
    They were big around here for years before the Republic of Telly and felt they were stretching themselves already trying to appeal to all of Ireland let alone abroad.
