Help, somehow reset my laptop: euro & at symbols no longer working!

If anyone can help me I'd be so happy.

I hit something on my laptop & now the Euro symbol is no longer working by hitting the number 3 and the Ctrl & Alt buttons..

Also my @ button has now switched to the number 2 and Shift...

you can get the euro by hitting Alt Gr and 4

sounds like you have changed to the American keyboard settings so to change it, go to Start | Control Panel | Region and Language
Options. Change it on the format tab

It definitely sounds like I've set it to a different setting somehow.
I tried to do what you said but no joy.

Follow These steps and you'll be flying. It's for XP but the instructions will be good as well for later operating systems

Could you do a screenshot of the keyboard layout screen?
