Iphone 4s wont save pictures from the interet?????

Hello, my old iphone 4 packed in and put in a claim and got a iphone 4s, but it wont save pictures from the internet or email, has anyone any ideas or will i just send it back again. Is there something i have to turn on or something, it really annoying as i cant download them to forward them on many thanks

What exactly are you doing. I don't think you could ever download a pic but if you press the home and sleep button together it will take a screenshot and save it to camera roll
