Gear/Clutch (finding correct speed)

Hey All, Just wanted to get your opinion on something if possible. I am due to do my test at the end of the month, but I am struggling with gears and clutch (finding the right speed for gear) Does anyone think that I can iron out the issues with gears before the test?
