I have yet another but hopefully the final problem with my g&g combat machine carbine. When I go to semi the gun seems to fire normally sometimes but then it fires full auto while still on semi. I did some minor adjusting of the tappet plate because of my last problem but nothing major. It's not serious but I hope to sell it at Christmas to get a better gun so I want it in perfect condition :)

When you say "I did some minor adjusting of the tappet plate because of my last problem but nothing major" what exactly do you mean ???????

I mean I just lengthened the tappet plate spring about a mm just to fit it in place properly but that can always be recompressed together again.

Just to be clear for everyone I think you mean selector plate, rather than tappet plate.

Is your selector plate binding on the inside of the receiver?
I think Inari mentioned it on another of your threads.

Sorry ye I meant selector plate-not thinking straight- it doesn't seem to be bending at all but I think it's just slipping slightly onto full auto which is just enough. Is there any way to tighten it up???????

As far as I'm aware there is no way of tightening the selector plate.
Have you checked it for wear around where the selector switch engages the plate?
If the AEG has had a good few bbs through it on semi, the cut off lever may have excessive wear on it!
