Think it's only on Sky Sports 2.

    Setanta Ireland also

Just hope they get stuck well in and none of this "lovey dovey" sh1t that goes on. A bit of fight and standing up for each other wouldn't go amiss. Used to love that with Adams, Keown, Bould, Parlour etc. Let them know you're there from the start.

More optimistic now I've seen the team selection :)

Sky Shi-ite pundits Hoddle and Uncle Fester talking usual crap - Souness not much better - trying to talk up Arsenal but hoping they're beaten especially the messenger of God and the ex Chelsea/Man Utd square ball expert - but I don't care ... suddenly I feel better about this one ... a win could restart our season ... hope TV5 has a good game and retains left back for the team and his own form - come on Theo, Jack, Santi and Lukas ... the hour approaches ... do us proud

Hope we don't continue to play unnecessary balls back to Mannone as he just kicks it back to the opposition. Mert is a divil for doing it.

Why are we wearing our third kit rather than the home jersey?

I have to say Mannone's improving.

Our defenders were very static for that corner.
    That zonal marking is shyte.

We do look better in terms of attcking set pieces though i think.

Theeeooooooo! Poor from Giroud before though, or was he fouled?

Theo Walcott making a very convincing arguement that he could be a decent striker. Arsene should make every effort to finalise his contract imo

Delighted with this boys. 0-2. Earlier today I had a very bad feeling about this. Delighted on the club's response. Come on Arsenal!

Would have taken a draw at the start of the game so not too disappointed but fcuk me. Why cant we hold onto a lead? Any sort of pressue and we cave. Was a great chance to go back top of the group and we blew it and I dont think anyone is even surprised.

On the plus side Walcott looked good I thought but he has fooled me before! Giroud played well too.

Think Carzola was missing the second half. He has been poor enough for a couple of games now.

Another positive is that Mannone played well again. Not looking like such a liability any more. The falling over from virtually everyone on the team was very frustrating though

How much do we think Huntelaar would cost? Would certainly be nice to have someone who can finish like him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

apparently spurs are looking at him for 7 million. Cheap as chips.

I would LOVE Huntelaar to play for us.

    nyomyomomomomommmmm

But we'll probably get a sack of coal at Christmas from Santa instead :(

He's such an odd one - he wouldn't be a guaranteed success. Excellent now for Schalke, excellent for Ajax, well below par for Madrid and Milan when the "big" teams did come calling. He'd probably get more time to prove himself at Arsenal though :o

Could be like Diego Forlan - excellent for Villareal, couldn't hit a barn door for Man Utd. One of those players I think.

This was the case with the likes of Henry and Bergkamp before they joined. Now i'm not putting him in the same category as those two legends but he could well be worth a gamble.

I wouldn't put us in the "big" teams bracket either atm :(

What has happened to carzola, has Wenger beat the talent from him?I don't buy he needs a rest 2 months into the season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,603 ✭✭✭2ndcoming

He's lost faith with Arsenal as he's been here 5 months and everyone still gets his name wrong

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,429 ✭✭✭Pierce_1991

Better performance from us tonight, goal before half time really was a killer. Getting a draw in Schalke is a good result though, they are a very good team. Think Theo deserves his chance up front. I'd love to see him and Giroud up there with Cazorla pushed wide and a Jack/Mikel central mid in a 4-4-2. Doubt it'll happen though. Hopefully we can get a result against Fulham this weekend, it's been a terrible start but luckily no one is doing particularly well yet so we're not miles off
