Yeah I'd say Fergie would prefer him to go abroad, but he seems to like England and he's proven in the EPL. He's a very good buy for anyone with the money to go get him. And a willingness to keep telling him he's better than Ronaldo..:pac:

I'd much prefer him going to ye than Spurs anyway. After that I'd say it'd be between PSG and Anzhi, though I doubt he'd want to go to Russia.

Madrid could take a punt on him either, stranger things have happened!

Can I ask you, why would you prefer him to come to us above Spurs?

Just a personal dislike for Spurs and Daniel Levy! It's much of a muchness from an objective viewpoint I suppose.

I'd love us to go balls out for a top winger and striker in January (yeah I know).

Ben Arfa or Isqo on the wing would be delicious (yeah, I know).

Llorente up front (yeah, I know we won't get him either).

My bet is when/if diaby gets fit we're gonna use santi on the wing

That's why I think we really need a powerhouse midfielder in jan Fellani fits the bill

But I'm jumping on the mvila bandwagon myself :)

M'vila has some personality problems and has been dropped. I don't want him at the club to be honest.

Barcas defence is like ours,so vulnerable from set pieces,if only our attack was the same.

And if only we showed Celtic's spirit too.

Half Barcelona, half Celtic and half robot. Perfect.

    And Roy Race.

    And Roy Race.

I dunno if he's much use for this season, it'll take a while for him to get over his Panamanian hostage ordeal I would've thought.

I think we should stop including Diaby in potential formations.

I think that is an exaggerated and almost irrelevant point about M'Vila tbh. At the end of the day, most players like other humans have personality problems, it is down to the club to manage and ensure that they behave in line with the rules.

Its not as if he is a John Terry or even RVP in his earlier years- if you know what I mean.

Anyone watching the Celtic v Barca game?
That Wanyama lad in midfield for Celtic looks the business. Good tackler and very strong with a good engine. Not afraid of the physical side of the game. Could be just the type of player we need.

Interview he did in the mixed zone last night with the Germans

Supposedly he said don't wanna be playing left wing, wants to be one of two strikers or play just behind the striker

Isco isn't a winger whatsoever

His position is the same as Cazorla's best position.

The problem is ... we have too many wanting to play in the same position it seems.

Then we gotta stop signing players and sticking themout of position. There's just too much unrest in the squad over it. It could well be that critical factor that has been leading to disjointed performances of late.

Nearly every attacker in the modern game 'wants' to play centrally. Even the like of Nani, Valencia, Young for United, Mata, Hazard for Chelsea, Walcott, Poldi and Cazorla (made his name as a winger) for us, Ronaldo, Messi, blah blah blah.

I'd like to see us being less reliant on one formation. It makes it easier for opposing managers to set up a defensive system to block us, as we're currently seeing.

lol Wanyama would strenghten any team in Europe, Barca included, he is better than Song IMO and last night was further eveidence of that, Celtic have a better keeper than Arsenal and at least three left backs better than Santos. Gary Hooper would be a far better option that either of Chamak or Arshavin and Tony Watt is a huge prospect, alot of EPL fans have a very elitist mindset with regard to the SPL and with very little basis.

I'm a bit annoyed at Podolski, he knew we play with 3 up front and he knew he'd most likely be stuck on the left. He knew that van Persie was the man in the middle and that Giroud was signed to replace van Persie if he left.

Why complain about being played on the left when he should have known full well that that's where Wenger intended to play him? I'm pretty sure he's played in a similar position for Germany a lot of the time.

Yes, ideally players should be played in their best position, but they should shut the hell up and play where the manager tells them to. With the money they're on they should just do their job.

On Theo; his calls to be played in the middle are a smokescreen in my opinion, he'll be off to the highest bidder using his "unhappiness" at not being used in the middle as his excuse and he'll be playing on the right for whoever his next club is.

No Scottish team in the CL last year, Rangers getting schooled for a couple of years before that? There is a basis for thinking the SPL is poor.

I don't disagree on your points about those players but Celtic would be a mid table team in the EPL imo. They're the only team in the top flight above Npower championsip level. The SPL is a poor league.

Putting in a great performance (and it was great) in Europe is not the same as being consistent for a whole league season.
