    Hi,
We bought a rather expensive white leather couch about 2 months back.
Missus rang me yesterday to inform me that a red t shirt I was wearing (which has been washed about a dozen times) seemingly ran into the couch when I was sitting on it...
She tried baby wipes etc but nothing is taking it off.
    Any suggestions folks?
Not sure what kind of leather it is, its not smooth if that helps.
    Cheers.
    Sham.

a lot of things that you could use to remove it, like solvents (ie: white spirit) would take off the dye but could damage the leather finish. i often use normal soap and warm water to clean our leather couch but it is brown. i have used brush cleaner from a DIY store (used for cleaning paint brushes) to clean ink from leather but it wasn't white either, it was an old jacket that i didn't mind if the finish was shiny or not but it actually didn't damage it. i was very careful, used cotton wool pads that i changed every few rubs and then i buffed it up with a soft chamois cloth after.

there is a dry cleaning solvent you can buy made specifically for leather and i would advise that for anything really expensive and white. not sure what shops have it, possibly a large dry cleaners or home store, and you can also get leather restorer to buff it after. you could also check the car sections and look for stuff that cleans car interiors as a lot of them are white leather or faux leather.

    Thanks for the reply.
I used surgical spirits on it and it seemed to work.
Not sure if I damaged the top coat on the leather though..
I saw those specific cleaners on amazon so might try one of those.
    Thanks again.
