Waterford Stanley Erin Stove question?

    Hi guys,

    I recently moved into a new house that already had a solid fuel stove installed. I have been using it on and off and find it gives out ok heat but not brilliant heat and the rads only heat to luke warm even though I have the thermostat set to 60deg. My main question is can I burn coal in the stove ?? Some people are telling me I can and others are telling me I cant and if i do it will cause a lot of damage to the stove because it burns too hot. I dont know whether to try it or not as the last thing I want to do is damage it! Any help here would be great.

    Stanley lists it as a multifuel stove.

    Does this mean I can burn coal? Multi fuel might just mean wood/briquettes/turf ?
